INDEPENDENT OPERA proudly presented its 2017-18 artists. Joined by prizewinning pianist, Nino Chokhonelidze, these exceptional young singers performed a dynamic programme including German Lied, contemporary Swedish song and a world première from Latvian composer Ēriks Ešenvalds. Clips from the recital are available to watch on Independent Opera's YouTube channel.

The IO Voice Scholarship was a £5,000 award which supported singers' tuition fees. Award recipients were offered the opportunity to perform in the annual recital at the Wigmore Hall and attend mentoring events with leading industry professionals.
