INDEPENDENT OPERA at Sadler’s Wells Postgraduate Voice Fellowships are awarded annually and provide funding of £5,000 per annum for singing lessons, coaching sessions, accompaniment and professional development for singers in the early stages of their operatic careers.

Fellowships are available exclusively to students completing their final year of study on a specialist opera course at each of the following music institutions.

  • Guildhall School of Music & Drama
  • Royal Academy of Music
  • Royal College of Music
  • Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
  • Royal Northern College of Music

Candidates must be nominated by the Department Head of their music institution.

Fellowships are announced during the summer of each year and commence in October.
