INDEPENDENT OPERA at Sadler's Wells

INDEPENDENT OPERA’s annual productions take place in November at the Lilian Baylis Theatre at Sadler’s Wells. Our wide-ranging repertoire is designed to showcase new talent in all areas of opera production. INDEPENDENT OPERA encourages artistic freedom and risk-taking and backs this commitment with sufficient funding for each production.

Occasional concert performances, recordings and tours are undertaken based upon the success of a production. Examples include our June 2008 concert performance of Orlando at the Wigmore Hall.
