Vuyani began his training with Wilhelm Theunessen at the Free State Musicon, South Africa. He has also studied at the Opera Queensland Young Artists’ Programme, the Royal College of Music and the Benjamin Britten International Opera School. Roles include Sparafucile (Rigoletto), Angelotti (Tosca) and Leporello (Don Giovanni) for Opera Queensland; Colline (La bohème) for South African State Theatre; Commendatore (Don Giovanni) and Prince Gremin (Eugene Onegin) for British Youth Opera; and Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro) for the RCM. Vuyani is a member of the Royal Opera House Jette Parker Young Artists Programme and last season sang Second Armed Man (Die Zauberflöte), Zaretsky (Eugene Onegin) and Cappadocian (Salome). This season he sings Jake Wallace (La fanciulla del West), Tutor (Elektra), Count Ceprano (Rigoletto) and Tom (Un ballo in maschera). In future seasons he will tour with John Eliot Gardiner and the LSO, return to Covent Garden for a guest engagement and appear in two productions for Grange Park Opera.
