Recipient of SADLER’S WELLS/INDEPENDENT OPERA Choreographer’s Fellowship
Vena is an independent choreographer, dancer and consultant in London.
Needing a new challenge Vena developed a new line of work. Drawing on the unique combination of study - philosophy, dance, yoga and tantra - she created passion coaching, a unique approach to helping people create fulfilling romantic relationships.
Vena uses dance to inspire and teach people a closer connection with their bodies. She runs workshops, salons and lectures on her subject.
Vena continues to choreograph and perform for select, special occasions, most recently at the House of Lords for an event celebrating inspiring women.
Vena was the first recipient of the Independent Opera Sadlers Wells Choreography Fellowship. The fellowship enabled her to explore the presentation of dance in new ways, which she uses in her current work.
