INDEPENDENT OPERA Artistic Director’s Fellowship: Alessandro Talevi

The INDEPENDENT OPERA Artistic Director’s Fellowship is designed to further an already promising directing career. Candidates must have a demonstrated track record working as a director and/or artistic director within the field of opera, but still be in the relatively early stages of their careers.
The Fellowship provides £20,000 per annum and, subject to review by the Trustees of INDEPENDENT OPERA, can be renewed on an annual basis for a maximum of five years. The Recipient is also given the right of first refusal to act as Artistic Director for INDEPENDENT OPERA productions, subject to the approval of the Recipient’s production proposals by the Trustees.
The current INDEPENDENT OPERA Artistic Director's Fellowship expires in 2010 and there are no plans for renewal of this Fellowship.
